Another Protest Begins In Edo
Vehicular movement on the Benin-Auchi Road was disrupted on Wednesday by protesting youths, who blocked the road at Ehor, over the killing of two persons by suspected herdsmen.
The protest resulted in serious traffic congestion as motorists were stranded for hours, while those who could manage to escape, used alternative routes, especially those going to Abuja.
Some of the protesters called on the government to find a lasting solution to the killings as they alleged that the herdsmen had become more deadly.

Popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has issued a fresh eviction notice to killer Fulani herdsmen in the South-West.
"Naija News" reports that Sunday Igboho made this known in an interview anchored by his spokesperson, Oluyomi Koiki.

While stressing that he will ensure they are all smoked out of the forests very soon, Igboho said that he would never give any order without monitoring compliance.

The Nigerian Army, on Wednesday, said that guns alone can’t stop the prevailing security threats across the country.
Army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, who spoke in Abuja, said the myriads of security challenges in Nigeria required a multifaceted approach to surmount.
Nwachukwu stated this while taking over as Director, Army Public Relations at the Army Headquarters.
7 ISWAP Fighters Killed In Borno

Suspected members of the Islamic State-backed faction of Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) on Tuesday razed a military formation in Kwamdi village, Damboa Local Government Area of Borno state.
It was gathered that three soldiers were killed during the attack while about seven members of factional Boko Haram sect also lost their lives.
Damboa LGA is located in Southern Borno with a distance of 87km from Maiduguri.
Anambra Government Speaks On Dreaded Bakassi Boys Re-emergence
The Anambra State Government has debunked reports of the return of the dreaded Bakassi Boys vigilante group in the state.
Speaking, the state’s Commissioner for Information,Don Adinuba, said Bakassi Boys would not be allowed to operate in the state.
He stated that the viral video showing some youths dressed in red wielding weapons was efforts by youths to rid the state of cultists and not Bakassi Boys.
